Lakefront hotel in Invermere may be delayed
The lakefront development on Lake Windermere, Vista Del Lago may be delayed due to developer Stoneset Equity Development Corporation requesting a change in the zoning bylaw.
There are different phases that have to complete in a certain order. Stoneset is asking to amend these phases. The Invermere district council has decided to look at the application.

Invermere needs a conference center to host larger events. Also if Stoneset builds what they have shown and been approved for, the development will greatly change the real estate landscape in downtown Invermere.
