Rockies under new leadership
Columbia Valley Rockies president Al Miller offer the vacant coaching position to local realtor and minor hockey coach Rob Rice, who had recently come onto the bench to offer help to the team.
Rice coached the Rockies ten years ago, but stepped away to be more involved in coaching his own four kids and their hockey teams. He currently coaches the local Bantam team, and in addition to coaching for 15 years, he has plenty of experince on the ice, having played at the Junior and university level.
